The inquest into Jimmy Mubenga’s death at the hands of Home Office-hired G4S officers began on Monday and has already shown huge inconsistencies in the accounts of those accused.
Despite claiming that ‘he had not heard the father of five young children calling for help during the 35 minutes he estimated Mubenga was handcuffed from behind and bent forwards in his aeroplane chair’, a member of public has stated he heard Mubenga shout for help over 50 times.
