The twenty-one activists in No Dash for Gas who were originally facing a £6 million lawsuit were yesterday sentenced. Whilst their sentences, community service and conditional discharge, were far lighter than was previously feared, it feels wrong to say that this represents justice. What firms like EDF are doing puts us all at risk, with little or no democratic recourse. DTRTP sends its solidarity to all of those who were charged.
