Solidarity with Shenstone 9 needed

For 2 days earlier this month 9 Roof Top Protesters Closed the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle plant in Shenstone, Staffordshire run by Israeli Arms Manufacturer Elbit Systems. The brave action of the Shenstone 9 Highlighted the UK Arms Trade with Israel. A trade that enables the Israeli Military to kill and maim innocent Palestinians. All the protesters were charged with Aggravated Trespass and could face custodial sentences. This protest is to show Solidarity and to call for the Charges to be dropped. Back protesters call for support in Manchester 

Four the past four weeks, protestors have been peacefully picketing a shop that is profiting from the illegal occupation of the Dead Sea in Occupied Palestine, following the Israeli government’s war in Gaza (http://npmp.org.uk/2-uncategorised/46-kedem-picket-and-gmp).

The Council and GMP have been typically rough in their handling of the protests, instead protecting business interests over the democratic right to protest. This weekend alone saw around ten arrests of protestors and a disproportionate police presence. One legal observer was assaulted and one of the arrestees was particularly traumatised.
