Last Saturday saw hundreds of people march through Birmingham to protest the death of Kingsley Burrell in police custody. His body has still not been released to the family. One of the main chants of the day was: ‘body, no burial, no justice, no peace’. Many other justice campaigns, friends and family of people who had been killed in custody or following contact with the police, including Anthony Grainger, Demetre Fraser, Sean Rigg and campaigns against joint enterprise.
