[From Socialist Worker]
More than 400 people were arrested relating to student protests between November 2010 and January 2011, Metropolitan Police figures reveal.
The statistics, released to Socialist Worker, show that 67 protesters were admitted to hospital directly from the protests.
Many more sought medical attention later.
Some students are facing charges of violent disorder following the demonstrations. Some have been sent to prison already.
Francis Fernie, a 20-year old with no previous convictions, was sentenced to a year in prison after throwing two sticks on a protest.
