My brother died in police custody in 1994. Although there was an inquest I have never got to the bottom of what happened and why he was taken to a police station, where he died, when he clearly had mental health problems. He was on the top of the town hall roof in Belfast threatening suicide and making delusional comments. Why was he not taken to a mental health hospital.? I tried to challenge the police at the inquest, but the coroner silenced me and made excuses for the police. We have never had any justice for my brother. I really feel for all the people you support, having had a similar expereince, and would like to become actively involved in your organisation. Could you let me know how I would go about this please? Thank you
